Jamie Oliver, the celebrity chef, was instrumental in helping police apprehend a gang allegedly behind a £3 million Cartier jewellery robbery, a court has heard.
The television cook persuaded Tom Baisden to come forward to police to confess his involvement seven years after the heist at Southend Airport, a jury at Basildon Crown Court was told.
